Obituary for Donald Collis
Donald Hugo Collis 73, of Eatonton, went to be with the Lord on Saturday afternoon with his loving wife by his side. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his son Gene Collis. Donald is survived by his wife Mary Hearn Collis, of Eatonton, Son: Jimmy Nelson Collis & wife Julie of Eatonton, Daughter: Stella Collis Thrift & husband Bubba of Eatonton. Grandchildren: Huelon F, Thrift III (Trey), Donald Hugo Thrift (Donny), Vincent Nelson Thrift (Vince), Stoshia Rose Thrift, Mary Alexandra Collis all of Eatonton. Great Grandchild: Alexis Elizabeth Thrift. And a sister Myrna Pope of Eatonton. Pallbearers are Trey, Donny and Vince Thrift and Taylor and Danny Collis and Michael Meadows. Honorary Pallbearers are Johnny Meadows and Alan Collis. Visitation will be at Lone Oak Baptist Church on Wednesday January 12, 2011 at 1 PM, the service will follow at 2 PM.
