Obituary for Dennis Smith
Dennis Smith 70 of Milledgeville, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 16, 2014. He was born in Williamsburg, Virginia on March 17, 1943 to the late Luther Smith and the late Lillian Walters Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Vicki Neill. Dennis enjoyed golfing, dancing and loved to be around people. He was always there to help anyone with anything they needed. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2014 at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel at 4 PM, following the service there will be a celebration of life at Jacksons. He is survived by his wife Kelli Williams Smith of Milledgeville, Step daughter Jennifer Bartley of Milledgeville,
A brother Mike Smith (Rose) of Navarre, FL, a sister Susie Gurganus (Bobby) of Carolina Beach NC, 5 nieces and nephews; Christopher Smith (Marisol), Tessa Smith, Tiffany Lyons (Tim), Scott Garner, Ryan Gurganus. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to the American Cancer Society.
