Obituary for Clifford Lee Wheeler
Clifford Lee Wheeler , age 78, of Eatonton, Georgia passed away in the comfort of his home surrounded by family on Sunday, March 26, 2017. He is survived by his bride of 58 years, Patsy Sue Wheeler of Eatonton, GA; Sons Rodney Stephen Wheeler (Sheryl) and Lance Lee Wheeler (Sheila) of Eatonton, GA; Mr. Wheeler was blessed with six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, the son of the late Clifford and Katie Wheeler. Mr. Wheeler was a retired Sheet Metal Worker and member of Local Union 85. This trade along with his passion for hunting and fishing passed on to his sons and grandsons. He was also small business owner of a boat dealership in Pine Lake, GA and later worked for Putnam County for 15 years. Mr. Wheeler adored his family. He was a genuine and kind man who forged lifetime friendships and was beloved by many people in his community. A memorial service will be held on April 30 at 3:00 pm; Northridge Christian Church 321 Log Cabin Rd NE, Milledgeville, GA 31061. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
