Obituary for Carlton Lee Walton Stewart
Carlton Stewart 84, of Eatonton passed away at his residence on Sunday, June 9, 2019. A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel from 1 to 2 PM, followed by a service at 2 PM. Burial will be at Black Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Milledgeville following the service. Carlton was born on April 21,1935 in Homer, GA to the late Norman and Mary Bell Brown Stewart Carlton enjoyed singing, playing his guitar and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Claude, Clarence and Clardon Stewart, sisters, Cathryn and Carolnoya Stewart.
Carlton is survived by his loving wife, Patsy West Stewart; stepsons, Amos Vinson (Candy), Mitch Eubanks (Bonnie) of Deepstep, Keith Eubanks (Threasa) of Milledgeville; stepdaughters, Cassandra Fowler (Mike) of Eatonton, Angela Franklin (Ronnie) of Monticello; grandchildren, Robert Vinson, Michael Vinson, Phillip Vinson, Sissy Vinson, Michael Phillips (Ashley), Haley Fowler, Sean Pittman (Danielle), Joshua Pittman (Heather), Tyler Aldridge, Brittany Batchelor (Jesse), Blake Eubanks (Brittany), Craig Eubanks, Brandi Eubanks (Jonathan), Kyle Eubanks (Taylor), Rylee Eubanks, and Ragan Eubanks; brothers, Bobby Churchill Stewart, Curtis Stewart and Chester B. Stewart. He was also survived by 24 great-grandchildren.
