Obituary for Camille Ryan
Camille Pace Ryan, 71 of Eatonton passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 31, 2022. Camille was born on November 30, 1950, in Washington, D.C. to the late William and Camille Oden Pace. She lived in the D.C./Maryland area for 35 years before moving to Atlanta in 1985 where she and her husband, James P. Ryan raised three children before moving to Lake Oconee for their retirement years. Camille was an active event planner who organized beautiful events, parties and fundraisers for many charities that were close to her heart. She fell in love with horses and spent every day of the last few years at the family’s barn at Waters Edge where she took care of rescue horses. Camille never met a stranger and was loved by everyone who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, William “Buddy” and Camille “Millie” Pace. Camille is survived by her husband James P. Ryan, daughter Cammi Jones (Bill), daughter Jamie Pennington (Scott), son Justin Ryan (Liz), sister Lynn Bradshaw (Russell), and nine grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Healing Hearts and Horses, a nonprofit that helps rescue horses.
