Obituary for Beth Joy Alford
Beth McMichael Alford, age 50, of Eatonton, GA. passed away peacefully on November 20, 2021 at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital with Family by her side. She will be deeply missed and will be remembered for her loving personality and most importantly for her love of God, her children, grandchildren, family and friends.
Beth was born March 4, 1971, in Milledgeville GA to Howard and Becky McMichael. After Graduating from John Milledge Academy she attended The University Of GA. and earned a degree in Early Childhood and Development. She married Darren Alford and they made their home in Eatonton. After their children were in school, Beth attended Georgia College and State University getting her masters degree in Special Education. She worked at Putnam Primary School and Putnam Jasper Support Services. She was a Member of First Presbyterian Church Of Eatonton.
Beth was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Lamar R. And Joyce Griffin, paternal grandparents Harold and Annie “Peep” McMichael, She is survived by her husband Darren Alford, a daughter Rebecca McClellan Alford Wilson (Cameron), and son Hart McMichael Alford, Grandchildren Cash and Camry Wilson, parents Howard & Rebecca McMichael Sr.,brothers Howard McMichael Jr. and Hunter McMichael (Tippi), of Eatonton, Nieces Kenlan McMichael, Griffin McMichael, and nephews, Case McMichael, Kolt McMichael. Flowers are accepted or donations to be made in her memory to Putnam Jasper Support Services. Service to be held at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel at 2 o’clock on November 24, 2021 Visitation will be held from 1-2 o'clock Service at 2
