Obituary for Bennie Ray Nicholson
Bennie Ray Nicholson 83 passed away at his residence on April 9, 2022. Bennie Ray was born in Fulton County, GA on May 30, 1938 to the late Clyde and Alma Nicholson. There will be a visitation on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel from 2:30 pm to 4 pm followed by a service at 4 pm. Ray aka Razor was a retired electrician with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union #613 for 55 years. He was known as Ray, Razor, Brother Ray, Pop, Big Pop, and Papa. He enjoyed boat riding, fishing, golfing, cook outs, phone calls, betting on football games, scratching lottery tickets, M&M’s, Hi-c’s and collecting old cars (smoking them up), but especially loved to spend time with his family. Preceded in death by his brother Charlie Nicholson. Bennie Ray is survived by his sons Steve R. Nicholson (Ramona), Robert Nicholson, Jeff Nicholson (Melanie), grandchildren Tiffany Nicholson(Richie Rosendahl), Kristopher Nicholson, Lindsey Fendley (Brandon Fendley), Jesse Nicholson, Great grandchildren Richard and Tayden Rosendahl, Madilyn Nicholson, Zachary, Aubrey & Kinsley Fendley sisters Betty (Jean) Spivey, Shirley Grimes(Wilton), Sister n’law Melanie Nicholson.
