Obituary for Beatrice Lundy
Beatrice Lundy 97 of Eatonton passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2014. Beatrice was born in White Plains, Georgia on February 4, 1917 to the late Mel Barnes and the late Lena Lucinda Edwards Barnes. Beatrice has lived in Eatonton for 69 years having moved here from Jones County. She enjoyed shopping, sewing, gardening, socializing and taking care of others when she was needed. Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harvey Lundy, son William ‘Billy’ Lundy and granddaughter Vivian Lundy Collis. The visitation will be on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at First Baptist Church of Eatonton at 10 AM, followed by the service at 11 AM. The interment will follow the service at Eatonton Memorial Park. She is survived by her Grandchildren Vikki Lundy Drawdy & husband Tommy, Chip Walker & wife Tammy, John Walker, Great Grandchildren John S. Toole Jr (Jessica Carr), Melissa Toole (Bobby Smith), Jennifer Collis Gore & husband John, Christopher Walker (Christin), Holli Walker, Brett Walker, Great Great Grandchildren Chandler Toole, Johnse Toole, Tyler Gore, Brianna Johnson and Jadyn Johnson, Niece Linda Copelan & husband Tommy, several other nieces and nephews and daughter in law Caroline Lundy. Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Eatonton or White Plains Baptist Church in her memory.
