Obituary for Barbara Ann Sorrows

Barbara Ann Sorrows, 84 of Eatonton passed away surrounded by her family at her residence on Wednesday, January 14, 2026.


Barbara was born in Atlanta, GA on March 11, 1942 to the late JC and Mary Lois Skinner.

Barbara was a member of the Philadelphia Church in Conyers, Georgia, she enjoyed walking and cleaning, but most of all she loved cooking especially for her loving family and spending time with them.


Service will be planned at a later date.


She is survived by her children Ann Towns, LeRoy William Sorrows (Paula), Helen Marie Hobbs (John), Nathan Paul Sorrows, brother Sammy Skinner, sister Louise Jones (Eddie) fourteen grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren.
