Obituary for Alton Webb
Alton Franklin Webb departed this life. October 15, 2012, after a lengthy illness. He was born and raised in Winchester, TN. He lived most of this adult life in GA. and MS. He was the son of Louis Franklin and Oma Alton Hill Webb, who predeceased him. Mr. Webb was also predeceased by his wife of 30 years, Angie Long Webb, a native of Eatonton, Ga. a brother, Bobby Webb and four sisters, Frances Webb Spencer, Kathy Webb Shaw, Patsy Webb Paine and Barbara Webb Rogers. He is survived by a son David Andrew Webb of Vicksburg, MS and a daughter Bonita Webb (Carrick) Talmadge of Oxford, MS. Grandchildren: Drew Webb, Sebastian Webb, Susanna Webb, Allison Webb and Caelan Talmadge. One great grandchild McKenzie Webb. He is also survived by a brother, Jim Webb of Merryville, TN. A sister Joan Cohen of Decherd, TN. Burial and graveside service were at Eatonton Memorial Gardens. The Rev. James Smith presided. Anyone wishing to make a memorial contribution may do so to Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church Building Fund or any other organization of their choice. The Reverend James Smith of Wesley Chapel Church conducted the service. Vining Ivy Hill Chapel had charge of the arrangements.
