Obituary for Pauline Wynelle Hanson
Pauline Hanson 63, of Eatonton passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2017. Pauline was born on October 7, 1953 in Dayton, OH to the late Dennis Alvin Collis and Pauline Franklin Collis. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Lucious Tink Collis. Pauline has lived in Eatonton for most of her life, she was a member of Harmony Baptist Church, and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. The visitation will be at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 from 6 to 8 PM. The service will be at Harmony Baptist Church on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at 11 AM. Burial will follow after the service at the church cemetery. Pauline is survived by her loving husband of 48 years Russell Hanson, son Russ (Tara) Hanson Jr. of Mansfield, GA, daughter Paula (Watson) Stewart of Eatonton, brothers Dennis (Martha) Collis of Eatonton, Jack Collis of Eatonton, sister Gail (Jerry) Ashworth of Cartersville, GA grandchildren Dalton (Kalie) Stewart, Behlyn Stewart, Noah Hanson, Emily Hanson, Rebekah Hanson, Elizabeth Hanson, great grandchild Landon Stewart, and special friends Brother Billy (Dianne) Waters, Charles Alexander and the late Carmen Alexander. The family has requested donations to help with the final expense cost to Vining Ivy Hill Chapel.
